Profile note
Sweden's national applied-AI centre and the home of GPT-SW3, the first large generative model for the Nordic languages (up to 40B; a 175B run was attempted in 2022). The important nuance for a directory: GPT-SW3's licence went BACKWARDS — it launched openly in Nov 2023 and is now gated to European academic researchers only, so it is not usable commercially. AI Sweden's forward bet is OpenEuroLLM, a ~20-partner European consortium building an LLM family for European languages. No API, no pricing.
