Profile note

The Netherlands' flagship sovereign LLM: a fully state-funded, copyright-cleared, Dutch-first model built by TNO + SURF + NFI. Distinctive for contextual anonymisation of personal data in training text (rather than removal) and for publishing the v1.0 training dataset on Hugging Face with metadata on copyrighted content. Moved from lab to live in Feb 2026 with five pilot organisations, growing to ten by spring 2026, with broader commercial roll-out planned for H2 2026.
