Profile note
The most under-appreciated European code model: a profitable, bootstrapped Czech/Dutch company gave away a 4B Apache-2.0 code-completion model that most IDE vendors keep closed. 'Focal model' framing — deliberately excellent at exactly one task rather than generalist — is a distinctly European efficiency-first position and makes it the practical choice for on-prem code completion.
