Profile note

Berlin's search-foundation lab and by far the most complete European embeddings/reranker line — text, code and true omni-modal (text/image/audio/video/PDF) embeddings in one space, with a uniform ~$0.02/1M-token price. Two caveats for a sovereignty directory: it was acquired by Elastic in October 2025, and its weights are CC BY-NC, so commercial self-hosting is not free.
