Profile note

The most genuinely open French LLM effort: Lucie-7B ships weights, training code and the full training dataset, trained on public French HPC. LINAGORA bootstrapped the OpenLLM-France community in 2023 which became OpenLLM Europe in 2024. Roadmap targets sub-3B models, function calling, RAG and French voice; a specific 2026 Lucie 2 release could not be verified.
