Profile note
The Norwegian counterpart to Sweden's KBLab, and equally a case for national libraries as model producers: NB-Whisper is Apache-2.0 with training code also open, and NB-BERT was trained on two centuries of legal-deposit text. Also a co-partner on both the UiO NORA.LLM models and NTNU's NorwAI models — the library is the data spine of Norwegian LLM work. No API, no pricing.
