Profile note

The reference German public-sector LLM effort: Teuken-7B is one of very few models pre-trained from scratch in all 24 official EU languages (~50% non-English data) rather than English-first then adapted. Consortium partners include Fraunhofer IAIS and IIS, Forschungszentrum Jülich, TU Dresden, DFKI, IONOS, Aleph Alpha, ControlExpert, WDR and the KI Bundesverband. Its successor line is the ~100B-parameter SOOFI model with Deutsche Telekom (see Deutsche Telekom record).
