Profile note
Founded by speech engineer Patricia Scanlon in 2013; built the leading children's-voice ASR engine and licensed it to 50+ education companies (Scholastic, McGraw Hill, Imagine Learning, Amplify, Learning Without Tears). Acquired by US edtech firm Curriculum Associates in Nov 2023 for undisclosed terms and folded into i-Ready. Recorded as an Irish AI exit to US ownership, not a live independent European lab.
