inaugurated Telefónica Tech ‘s Digital Operations Center (DOC) at the company’s headquarters, located in Madrid’s Telefónica District, which is fully dedicated to cybersecurity and the cloud.

Telefónica's own press release states that the company's headquarters is located in Madrid's Telefónica District (Distrito Telefónica), and the same release refers again to 'its headquarters'. Explicit headquarters wording bound to the group and to Madrid.

Evidence boundaries

Organisation listings identify a reviewed canonical record. Headquarters is independent of incorporation, registered offices, ownership, hosting and runtime. Model listings show an association in the source register; they do not by themselves establish model creation, current API availability, hosting location or infrastructure ownership.

Profile note

Telefónica does NOT publish a foundation model of its own — verified: no Telefónica-branded LLM was found. Its role in the European stack is infrastructure and integration: co-delivering the BSC AI Factory (MareNostrum 5 AI upgrade) with Fujitsu's Fsas Technologies, and running an edge AI voice-agent platform in Spain that combines third-party LLMs with RAG, with audio processed on Spanish soil.
