Profile note
One of only two winners of the European Commission's Large AI Grand Challenge (June 2024), which awards EuroHPC compute to train a foundation model. Building CaLICO, an LLM to detect and process hate speech across every official EU language — a genuinely EU-specific model target that no US lab is optimising for. A University of Antwerp spin-off. Model size, release date, licence and whether CaLICO shipped are all unverified — recorded as null.
