Profile note
Nordic/Germanic-focused sibling to OpenEuroLLM, and one of the few EU LLM consortia with a fully verifiable euro figure (€6.93M, 100% EU-funded). Partners: Linköping University (coordinator, SE), AI Sweden (SE), Fraunhofer (DE), Forschungszentrum Jülich (DE), NTNU / SFI NorwAI (NO), University of Copenhagen (DK), Alexandra Institute (DK), TNO (NL), University of Iceland (IS), Miðeind (IS). Its practical significance is as the pipeline that feeds Nordic-language capability into the larger EU stack; several of its people and datasets also appear in OpenEuroLLM. Ends October 2026.
