Profile note

IMPORTANT OWNERSHIP CHANGE — Unbabel was acquired by US-headquartered TransPerfect on 22 August 2025 and is no longer independently European-owned, though it remains a Lisbon-based operation and a partner in EuroLLM. TowerLLM and COMET are being integrated into TransPerfect's GlobalLink; TransPerfect said it has 'no plans at present' to change the open-source releases of TowerLLM or COMET. Co-founder/CEO Vasco Pedro stayed on for the integration period.
